A few weeks ago, Maryam Abdi―the translator behind Translators Academy―reached out for an interview in order to learn more about my professional journey in the translation field, especially my experiences with book translations.
You can read the outcome of our interview here.
I'm always glad to have a chance to share the lessons I've learned the hard way, so that beginners can have some ideas on what to do―or not to do―once they're faced with adversity in their professional life. It is with interviews like these that I'm able to step back from the stream of daily tasks to actually reflect upon how far I've been able to come as a translator and what more I'd like to accomplish in the short and long term.
Thanks for the opportunity, Maryam!
