On October 20, I’ll be joining the Brazilian Translation Club in a workshop about, well, Brazilian literature in translation!
I was assigned a text in Portuguese by Jacques Fux and will be discussing the process behind my into-English translation, including my decision-making process, my language choices, and my inspirations.
This is a partnership between Capitolina Books and the University College London (UCL) to promote contemporary Brazilian literature. Professional and enthusiast translators are all welcome and encourage to attend the workshop, which is free of charge.
