Interview on ATA's Source

The Summer 2015 issue of Source, the electronic publication edited by the Literary Division with the American Translators Association (ATA) features an interview with me (cover and pages 7-14) about the changing role of translators in the age of self-publishing.

That was also the subject of my recent talk at the 6th Translation Conference organized by the Brazilian Translators Association (ABRATES) on June 5-8, and two webinars hosted by in November 2014 and February 2015.

Have you ever worked with self-published authors on a book translation? Have you ever translated a book in the public domain and/or self-published your own material? If so, I'd love to hear about your experiences!
